Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve
P.O. Box 30, Bettles, AK 99726
The ultimate wilderness park, this 8.4 million acre park and preserve has no trails, signs or telephones. It is entirely located about the Arctic Circle and is the northernmost park in the National Park system. Vistors can experience the natural world as it was when wilderness advocate Robert Marshall visited it more than 60 years ago.
